During the winter I take extra care of my hair. I use hair care products with extra moisturizers and fatty acids in them. It puts moisture back into my hair that the weather tries to take out. I use a deep conditioning treatment often during the winters. If my hair feels very dry, I add a little vegetable oil to my conditioner, and sometimes I use a tiny bit and rub it into my hair in between washings to add a glistening effect, and also to moisturize. I've found that using a dry oil spray is fabulous too. Both the vegetable oil and the dry oil are great for putting a protective layer between the hair and the weather. I have had static cling in my hair during the drier months of winter, so I had to find a solution. One hair care tip for that problem is to take a dryer sheet and lightly rub it onto my hair. It works great! All of these hair care tips have worked great for my hair during the winters.
