hair care, cologne fragranceI have a problem about thinking there is more time then I really have before having to hit the road. This happened on one such night I was supposed to meet my girlfriend for 7pm dinner reservations. Standing in the shower, my cell phone vibrated on the bathroom counter and figuring it was her possibly changing the plans, I stepped out of the shower to see. Sure enough it was her and the text said, “Just got here, you close?” What. I looked at the time and it was 6:30. I later found out this was the actual time of our reservations. Not wanting to start the night off bad, I like always said, “Almost there.”

There was no time for hair care or even to finish the shower. I dried off, threw some gel in, got dressed, sprayed cologne fragrance and ran out the door. The place was within walking distance so I ran. About 30 yards before getting there, I slowed to a walk to make it seem like I didn’t just rush over. She was there waiting and we took our seat. After we sat down, laughing she said, “There’s soap in the back of your hair.” I missed this step of the hair care process and broke into laughter too. She did say the cologne fragrance smelled good.
