Anyone who ever thought that women are the only ones who are picky about their hair care has never met my husband. Don't get me wrong, I think hair care is extremely important, and I make sure that I get my hair styled and colored every 4-6 weeks, but my husband has me beat when it comes to hair care. As much as I love to look great, there are times when my hair isn't styled perfectly when I walk out the door. My husband cannot say the same thing. I would almost say that hair care is almost an obsession for him, because I see him looking in the mirror several times a day combing his hair, or looking to see if he has any new grey hairs popping up, which is always a source of frustration for him. I keep telling him that men look distinguished with grey, but he isn't buying it.

This Christmas, he and I are planning a trip away for a week and this morning he asked me if I could look for his favorite hair care products in miniature sizes. I honestly thought he was joking, but as I stood in the kitchen stirring the oatmeal and he handed me a list of the hair care products that he wanted for the trip, I realized that he wasn't. I didn't say anything, but assured him that if the products were made in miniatures then I would make sure he had them. I asked him why he didn't just use some small empty bottles to pour some of his hair care products into, and he said that he didn't want to do that. I didn't say a word, other than OK, and once he left for work and the house was quiet, I began my search.
