trendy clothes, perfume andI don’t suppose I am any different from most of the women I know in that I am interested in perfume and hair care and I like to wear trendy clothes provided they suit me. However over the years I have learned to take a more practical approach to such matters and I have realized that there are occasions where looking and smelling chic just isn’t feasible.
For instance one scenario in which I put elegance on a backburner is when I go hiking in the woods with my husband. When I am out in the woods hairspray, perfume and fragranced body lotion are out of the question. While hiking in the middle of nowhere the only product I smell like is bug repellent. Trendy clothes are also a bad idea in the woods. While I am out hiking I wear an old long sleeved t-shirt, old jeans and sturdy but not very feminine hiking boots to protect my ankles.
Fortunately there are still plenty of situation in which I can wear trendy clothes, use product on my hair and wear fragrance. I like to dress up and make an effort when I go out for the evening with my husband. I even look trendy by the pool in my swimsuit or when I wear a cool pair of pajamas at night.
